Birthplace of the Caribou
Birthplace of the Caribou
Earth Images Foundation
In the far north of Alaska, America’s great wild heritage lives on in the pristine Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. But oil developers are pushing to drill into the Refuge’s coastal plain, the birthing grounds of the caribou and many other Arctic species, and a sacred place to the Native Alaskan Gwich’in.
This film shows why Americans are so passionate about ensuring that the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge endures, intact and unspoiled, forever.
