Earth Images Foundation is a non-profit film production company founded in 1992 and based in Oakland, California.  

 

Earth Images Foundation's filmmakers Doug Prose and Diane LaMacchia produce television documentaries and short films about the Earth and how people relate to it.  The focus of our films is the conservation of wilderness and the scientific exploration of the Earth and its processes.

 

Earth Images Foundation's films are broadcast on PBS stations nationwide and internationally.  Our short films are screened in National Park and Forest Service visitors centers, museums, and conferences.  Many of our films are distributed by national educational distributors to schools, libraries, grassroots organizations, and the public.
